Nearly 100 people have been killed and many others wounded in the last 24 hours in Israeli attacks across Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Strip announced.

“At least 97 people were killed and 123 others injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said in a statement, adding that “many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads and rescuers can’t reach them”.

According to Al-Jazeera, the Israeli occupation aircraft targeted an entire residential square in the Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday, killing eight Palestinians and wounding many more.

The bodies of 25 Palestinians have arrived at the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis in the last 24 hours, including 17 Palestinians who died in the bombing of the Al-Faqawi family’s home.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the city of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza, is being subjected to the most violent bombardment, as the Israeli army continues its operations in the city despite its retreat in the western areas.

Israeli tanks are reportedly bombing the residential city of Hamad, west of Khan Yunis, and arresting dozens of men.

Several areas in Khan Yunis are witnessing fierce battles between Israeli forces and the Resistance, which announced a series of new operations on Monday.

Air and artillery bombardment also targeted the town of Al-Mughraqa, north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza. According to reports, ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach the targeted area due to the presence of Israeli forces.

On Tuesday morning, the Nuseirat refugee camp was subjected to an Israeli raid that targeted a house, resulting in several casualties, according to Al-Jazeera.

Artillery shelling was also reportedly renewed this morning in the eastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp and the Juhr al-Dik area, in central Gaza.

The Israeli army carried out raids and artillery shelling on the western areas of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, according to Al-Jazeera.

Moreover, two Palestinians were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted them on Al-Rashid Al-Sahili Street.

Genocide Continues

Currently on trial before the International Court of Justice for genocide against Palestinians, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 30,631 Palestinians have been killed, and 72,042 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7.

Moreover, at least 7,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Israel says that 1,200 soldiers and civilians were killed during the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on October 7. Israeli media published reports suggesting that many Israelis were killed on that day by ‘friendly fire.’
