Protesters in countries across the world are calling Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide. Some were calling it genocide just weeks after Israel struck back at Hamas, following the horrific attack by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.

Most countries, right after the Hamas attacks, said Israel had every right to go after Hamas in Gaza, but that civilians must be protected. The last count of civilian dead is 61,000 and due to a lack of aid getting in, starvation and death from it are becoming commonplace. The goodwill Israel had at first has dwindled as more Palestinians die every day.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has always been a vocal “America First” proponent, in this case meaning to stay out of and not fund, foreign wars, meaning Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas-Gaza.

This time, her calling out Israel for genocide in Gaza has rankled AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. But first, a series of posts leading up to the feud. AIPAC agreed with her on Florida Rep. Randy Fine.

Then, when she openly called the starvation in Gaza genocide, the attacks by AIPAC started.

On Aug. 7th, AIPAC began its attack. They accused Greene of betraying American values by saying Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. “You expect anti-Israel smears from Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. But now, Marjorie Taylor Greene has joined their ranks — spouting the same vile rhetoric and voting against the US-Israel alliance.”

Trump is still backing Israel and Netanyahu, even with the latest statement by Netanyahu that Israel is going to occupy Gaza 100%.

Speaking to One America News, MTG said AIPAC was “breaking U.S. laws,” and that she was “absolutely furious.” AIPAC earlier in the day sent out a fundraising email criticizing Greene.

She shot back with, “I’m absolutely furious, and as a matter of fact, AIPAC needs to register as a foreign lobbyist because they’re breaking US laws by donating to members of Congress and taking them on a fully funded trip to Israel. Every single freshman member of Congress this year, they just took them over just recently and had them meet with the prime minister of Israel.”

She’s right. There’s a group of 20 House members led by Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Pete Aguilar and Rep. Steny Hoyer that took the trip to Israel and were scheduled to meet with Netanyahu. According to Punchbowl News, both the Democrat, and a large group of Republican House members’ trips led by Rep. Tom Emmer, are being paid for by AIPAC. AIPAC page of the Democratic trip with videos by participants. And there’s Hakeem Jeffries’ press release on the trip. The Republicans went before the Democrats and also met with Netanyahu. Before both of those trips, Speaker Mike Johnson was there with four other House Republicans

All the way back in the 1970s,  Sen. William Fulbright said that AIPAC should register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. They have been involved in other controversies as well. Greene’s accusation appears to be warranted.

Continued support for Israel in the face of starvation in Gaza is only fueling anti-semitism worldwide, making the world more unsafe for Jews. On July 28th, two Israeli human rights organizations, B’Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, said their country was committing genocide in Gaza. There have already been many protests in Israel by Jews to stop the war and the use of aid and food as a tool of the war. It is hard for many, in a country created out of the genocide of the Holocaust, to see their own country commit it.

MTG on Matt Gaetz Show on OAN explaining her opposition to AIPAC and continued aid to Israel.

Marjorie didn’t mince words. “Israel is not hurting, and they have proved themselves more than capable of not only defending themselves but annihilating their enemies to the point of genocide, and that’s what’s happening in Gaza….the reason why AIPAC is attacking me is because I dared to tell the truth.”

“It’s the most truthful and easiest thing to say that October 7th in Israel was horrific and all hostages must be returned, but so is the genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation happening in Gaza.”

As of March 2025, 147 of the 193 members of the United Nations had recognized Palestine as a sovereign state. There are many EU and NATO countries that have withheld recognition, but that is changing. Recently, France, Malta, and San Marino have recognized Palestine, and the U.K. and Canada are conditional. The U.K. requires Israel to agree to a ceasefire, allow in the massive pile up of humanitarian aid, commit to a two-state solution, no annexation of the West Bank, and Hamas to agree to a ceasefire, release all the hostages, agree to no role in governing Gaza, and disarm. If these conditions are not met, the U.K. will recognize Palestine. Canada wants democratic reforms in the Palestinian Authority and for the Palestinian state to be demilitarized. The United States and Israel have called the U.K. and Canadian conditions “rewarding terrorism.” On August 10th, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Australia will recognize Palestine in September at the United Nations General Assembly. On August 11th, New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Winston Peters said his country would be making their decision at a cabinet meeting in September. In a statement, Peters said, “New Zealand has been clear for some time that our recognition of a Palestinian state is a matter of when, not if.”

On Aug. 10th, Netanyahu gave a rare press conference, where he said, “To have European countries and Australia march into that rabbit hole, just like that, fall into it, and buy this canard is disappointing. But it’s not going to change our position. We will not commit national suicide to get a good op-ed for two minutes.”

On Aug. 6th, Democratic Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, who received 2 million in campaign spending from AIPAC, co-sponsored a bill to stop offensive weapons from being sent to Israel.

This should have been done a long time ago, but when Joe Biden stopped 2,000 lbs bombs from being shipped, there was an uproar, mostly from the Republicans. It was only after Trump took office that those bombs were shipped to Israel. Announcing the bill would have been just for show, months ago, but now there might be support from previous Israel stalwarts.

The latest Netanyahu plan is to occupy Gaza City and all of Gaza. Before the war, Gaza City had a population of 700,000. Estimates are now between 400,000 to 1,000,000. Nobody knows with any certainty. Seeing this small area with a large amount of the whole 2.1 million population of the Gaza Strip come under more attack than it already has, will mean a large uptick in Palestinian civilian casualties, on top of the starvation. Across the Arab world, there has been universal condemnation of the plan. Hamas said that it is a death sentence for the hostages there, without saying if they would be killed by them or by Israel in the crossfire. At a news conference, Netanyahu countered, “Contrary to false claims, this is the best way to end the war and the best way to end it speedily. This is how we bring the war to an end.” Israel then occupies Gaza completely, and then what? Netanyahu gave his 5 principles for ending the war.

  1. Hamas disarmed
  2. All hostages freed
  3. Gaza Demilitarized
  4. Israeli overriding security control
  5. Non-Israeli peaceful civil administration

No mention of a ceasefire to start things off, just Hamas disarmed. Only item 2 seems to be possible to do. No mention of completely opening borders for aid convoys. GHF doesn’t count. The “civil administration” is something other than the Palestinian Authority headed by Mahmoud Abbas. There is also no mention of the West Bank. There are approximately 700,000 Israeli settlers in the West Bank, each time taking Palestinian land. Can they stay in a Palestinian-run state?

Algeria commented on Israel’s plan to take Gaza City, “After twenty-two months of forced displacement, starvation and ethnic cleansing, such an operation would not merely ruin Gaza, it would annihilate what is left of it.”

The U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Dorothy Shea, said, “The simple truth is this war could end today if Hamas let the hostages and all of Gaza go free,” and that the genocide accusations “are politically motivated and categorically false.”

The head of the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Ramesh Rajasinhham, said that the situation in Gaza, “is no longer a looming hunger crisis — this is starvation, pure and simple.”

The attempt to air drop aid is laudable, but too little and too dangerous. There are already reports of people crushed by the drops.

Video of an aid airdrop that landed on a building balcony which collapses with people on it and under it.

An orthopedic surgeon volunteering in Gaza, Dr. Umar Burney, said he had to take care of “multiple patients who’ve been crushed by these sorts of unplanned, unannounced aid drops on top of their heads, literally on top of their heads.”

Marjorie isn’t the only representative to call out Israel. Rep. Ro Khanna had something to say:

AIPAC decided to reply directly.

Unfortunately, their claim that the aid is in Gaza, just not being delivered, doesn’t match the facts laid out by OXFAM, the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief. OXFAM says only a trickle is getting in and that the IDF stops them from getting to a delivery location. They call the airdrops a fig leaf while aid enough to fill 100 football fields sits in warehouses outside of Gaza. The one thing Israel completely disallows is fuel, saying Hamas would use it for their operations. That means ambulances that cannot move, hospital generators that don’t run, pumps for wells that no longer provide water, desalination plants that aren’t running, and no fuel for cooking. That blockade of fuel has never changed.

UNRWA, the U.N. Relief Works Agency for Palestine Refugees is still being blocked by accusations, not facts.

They are awaiting entry with aid while the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation puts on a show of distributing aid in four locations, when there were hundreds before. This concentrates the population in a small area and Palestinians are regularly shot and attacked by IDF soldiers on their way to the distribution sites, and GHF security personnel shoot them at the sites themselves. Warning shots don’t kill people.

There was a meeting on August 6th between GHF, the U.N. World Food Program, U.N. Children’s Fund, International Organization for Migration, U.N. Office for Coordination of Human Affairs, and the International Red Cross. There’s been so much animosity between the GHF and everyone else that the ground rules were no phones and they had to go by the Chatham House Rules. That means everybody gets to speak freely, but nothing is attributed to anyone. The only accomplishment was to decide to de-escalate attacks in the media on each other.

Since the GHF took over the main aid distribution, nearly 1,400 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 4,000 injured while trying to get to the aid. NBC News asked GHF about the death toll and they deflected to aid convoys by the United Nations and other organizations often passed near the GHF locations and were regularly looted by large crowds. How does that happen when there are only four GHF distribution spots?

No one can be in favor of starvation, and the U.S. involvement with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is a bad sign. Just the description of the meeting at the U.N. raises questions. Such as, what is the GHF hiding? I wrote about them in “The Business of Starving Gaza.” The organization has a checkered history and the Swiss are still investigating it.

The Israelis can continue forever blaming Hamas for everything, but this new advance by Netanyahu to take Gaza City is still another way to prolong the war and delay his corruption and bribery trial.

Besides the Israeli human rights organizations backing up Greene’s claim of genocide, there is the International Court of Justice that ruled that there was “plausible risk that Israel’s actions amount to genocidal acts.”

The Israeli military said, “The IDF is allowing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip in line with the government’s directives, and allows international organizations to carry out its distribution.” Except that’s clearly not the case.

The United Nations special committee said last November that Israel’s conduct and Gaza was, “consistent with the characteristics of genocide,” including mass civilian casualties and using starvation as a weapon. They are joined by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, historians and experts in the field.

Marjorie said, “It’s easy to call it genocide. And I think Israel has made it clear what they want to do. They really want to, basically, move all the Palestinians out of Gaza, and that’s what they’re in the process of systematically doing.”

On Aug. 9th, Marjorie got into a feud started by Mark Levin.

MTG responded:

Aug. 9th, 100,000 in Tel Aviv protested against Netanyahu’s plan to escalate the Gaza war by attacking Gaza City and occupy all of Gaza. Israeli protesters are also calling Israel’s actions in Gaza genocide.

An investigation by The Guardian over 50 days of food distribution appears to show a constant Israeli pattern of IDF firing at Palestinians seeking food.

According to the U.N., attack least 1,373 Palestinians have been killed since 27 May while seeking food, with 859 killed in the vicinity of GHF sites, and 514 along routes of food convoys.

In one of the 30 videos The Guardian examined at or near GHF sites, Palestinians try to hide as bullets hit the sand. These are hardly warning shots.

Of the 21 days of shootings at food distribution sites in June in which about 2,000 Palestinians were in injured, the Israeli military acknowledged opening fire on “suspects” or firing “warning shots” on eight occasions, but repeatedly denied targeting civilians.

As you can see from the Gaza map, the areas where Palestinians are simply allowed to be is incredibly small. The three GHF distribution sites in the south are in evacuation zones. Get killed getting there, get killed at the sites, get killed leaving or starve to death. The larget concentration of Palestinians is in Gaza City, and they have the longest way to go through evacuation zones to get to a single GHF distribution site. The city is the next offensive warned by Netanyahu on the way to occupying all of Gaza. Then what?

From the start, the GHF distribution was violent, with more than 400 Palestinians injured in the first week alone, and more than 30 patients dead on arrival at the ICRC [International Committee of the Red Cross] field hospital. The first food distribution site was in a zone in west Rafah flagged by the Israelis for evacuation. to collect food, Palestinians had to defy the orders.

Elon Musk’s Grok got suspended for reporting the truth.

One final new attack on MTG by AIPAC and Mark Levin initiated one more response yesterday.

International organizations probably never thought that they would be in the same company with Marjorie Taylor Greene, but sometimes even the blind can see, and Marjorie took her blinders off.
