Activists staged a march for Palestine in Stockholm, Sweden in December 2024
Stockholm (Quds News Network)- Hundreds of Palestine supporters in Sweden held silent marches on Saturday evening in Swedish cities to protest the global silence on the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Protesters in the Swedish city of Uppsala carried dolls covered in red-stained shrouds to denounce Israel’s killing of children in Gaza and the attacks on civilians in tents and hospitals, and the forced evacuation of workers at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza by the Israeli military.
They also held pictures of people killed and wounded to denounce the genocide.
The documented Palestinian death toll has now reached 45,484 people killed and 108,090 others injured since October 7, 2023, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.
Health officials report that 70 percent of the victims are women and children.
Many victims are still missing, either trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, while rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
