Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- At least 37 Israeli settlers and soldiers were injured, 6 of them in critical condition, in a truck-ramming operation in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

“At 10:08 am (08:08 GMT), a report was received… of a truck hitting a bus stop on Aharon Yariv Boulevard in Ramat Hasharon… Paramedics are currently providing medical treatment on site to dozens of casualties,” the Magen David Adom service said in a statement.

It added it transferred 37 Israelis to the hospitals for treatment, including 6 in critical condition.

Initial Hebrew reports said five were killed and 37 wounded in the operation, including soldiers.

The soldiers were on their way to military bases.

The Israeli Police claimed the operation was carried out by a Palestinian man from the 1948-occupied territories. The man, identified as Rami al-Natour from the Palestinian village of Qalansuwa, was reportedly shot and killed by Israeli settlers in the area.

The operation came amid a sharp spike in Israeli assaults against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, which has been under an Israeli offensive since October 7, 2023.
