Ninety per cent of Gaza’s population has been displaced since the outbreak of the war in October 2023, many of them children, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said yesterday.
“Places where people are being forced to move lack basic necessities and safety,” UNICEF added in a post on X.
The agency reiterated its call for an end to all hostilities and a lasting ceasefire.
